Caddy spoon - Agate set; Scottish-themed - Birmingham 1929 by Joseph Cook & Son - 9cm long; 16g - DV/2017
Joseph Cook & Son specialised in making silver for the Scottish market and used natural elements found in Scotland or Scottish themed designs to decorate their wares.
This delightful silver tea caddy spoon combines two of those features; it is set with two differently coloured agates (Scottish pebble) to the terminal and has an engraved tendril of Celtic knots down the stem. The spoon has a shovel-shaped bowl and is in fine condition throughout.
