Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a rare piece - you don't tend to find 18th century Irish silver fancy back spoons!

This Hanoverian style silver dessert spoon has a good clear, die-stamped shell motif to the reverse of the bowl and is engraved with a crest to the back of the terminal. The spoon has three crisp Dublin hallmarks appropriate for its size, to the back of the stem and this includes the script "DP" mark for the top maker David Peter.

The spoon is in excellent condition with a good, thick bowl tip and a lovely antique patina.
