This lovely Regency period silver caddy spoon has a beautifully decorated shovel-shaped bowl.
The spoon was made in Birmingham by Joseph Taylor and has a hollow fiddle pattern handle. The shovel bowl is superbly engraved with coiled rope-work highlighting the piercing towards the tip.
The full set of clear hallmarks are located to the underside and the condition throughout is first class with no signs of damage nor repair.
