This is an elegant Georgian silver wine label for Elder made by the famous Bateman family of silversmiths.
The label takes a stylish crescent form and is clearly hallmarked to the reverse for Peter & ann Bateman (son and daughter-in-law of Hester Bateman). Unlike some small Elder labels for elder sauce, this is a standard-sized bottle ticket, so presumably for elder wine and is in fine condition.
