This is a good sized and excellent quality silver-gilt vinaigrette by the premier box-maker, Nathaniel Mills.
The hinged cover of this vinaigrette is fitted with a cast plaque featuring an attractive array of floral scrolls. The interior has a prettily pierced and engraved hinged grille with a full set of George IV period hallmarks spread between the top and base. This antique silver vinaigrette remains in excellent condition throughout.
