This Georgian silver sauce label bears the scarce name "HARVEY". lt is plain in form with hallmarks to the reverse for London 1811 and a faintly punched makers mark for Peter & William Bateman.
Harvey’s Sauce was a relish introduced in the late 18th century as a rival to Worcestershire sauce.
