Silver Shooting Butt Marker Case, 1910

This is a superb Edwardian period silver shooting butt marker with a heavy feeling of great quality.

This plain, antique box has a hinged, spring loaded cover which when opened shows the Birmingham hallmarks for A & J Zimmerman. Inside the box are ten numbered pegs that slot neatly in to place and can be randomly picked out via a turned round finial to determine which shooting butt each gunman will use. This is a top quality piece in excellent condition.
