Spoon - Trefid; Gilt - London 1696 by John Jackson - 18.8cm long; 44g - WP/9043

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fine looking silver-gilt trefid spoon dating from the reign of William & Mary. The lemon-coloured gilding may be original to the piece, but it is always difficult to be 100% sure and is in pretty much intact save for the area around the rattail on both sides of the bowl. The condition of the spoon is very good with an unworn bowl and a good set of hallmarks for the specialist spoon maker John Jackson.
