Table Spoon - Hanoverian Rattail pattern - London 1714 by Thomas Spackman - 20.6cm long; 62g - CF/8964d

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fine example of an early George I period silver table spoon and is an early specimen in the Hanoverian Rattail pattern. It is in fine condition with a good rim to the bowl, hefty weight and an engraved letter "B" to the reverse terminal. The clear set of hallmarks to the reverse of the stem are for the more pure Britannia Standard and include the distinctive "Sp" maker's mark in cursive script. A great quality spoon in fine condition.
