Laceback Trefid Spoon, London 1677

This is a superb example of a highly sought after London made laceback trefid spoon. The spoon itself is in wonderful condition with a very crisp intricate laceback design to the reverse of the bowl and the front of the handle. The top of the handle on the reverse side is dot-pricked with a betrothal triangle. The hallmarks are in fantastic condition with a very clear example of the unusual maker's mark.
