Lawrence Jones Trefid Spoon, 1698

This is a great example of a William & Mary trefid spoon with long rattail to the reverse of the bowl and excellent Britannia Standard hallmarks. The spoon has a good weight and survives with its original bowl tip. The maker's mark is "Jo" with mullet below and is the mark of Lawrence Jones. The spoon is in good condition with a fine patina with just some very small bruises to the bowl.
