'Tree of Life' Caddy Spoon, Artificers Guild

An excellent example of a rare spoon. This arts & crafts spoon was made by Edward Spencer's Artificers Guild and bears clear marks for the same. The Tree of Life was a popular motif of the Guild and this spoon can be found as plain or with a stone set, however this is the first time we have found an example set with coral. The stem terminates in a rattail under the bowl and has bevelled edges mid-shank. The bowl retains its original planished finish and the whole is in fine condition.
