Alfred Taylor is one of the lesser known mid-19th century Birmingham silversmiths and this antique silver caddy spoon is a fine and unusual example.
It has a complex-shaped handle to cater for the engraved floral scroll designs along its length and a central vacant cartouche. The bowl is plain and circular and the full set of hallmarks are located on the reverse. The condition is excellent throughout.
