A fine hefty example of the famous Warwick Vase - an ancient Roman marble vase that was discovered in 1771. The vase is in superb polished condition and lacks the usual engraved presentation inscriptions that generally afflict these cups. The two bifurcated vine tendril handles terminate in bunches of grapes. Everything about this piece is top class.
