The Service
We are pleased to be offering an outstanding quality early 21st Century silver canteen of cutlery in Royal Pearl Pattern. The set provides for a full formal table service with ten pieces per 12 place settings and four serving spoons.
The service is beautifully presented in a wooden box with all pieces having their own slot to prevent scuffing with neighbours. Every piece has a good, solid feel of high quality in the hand, consequently leading to a weighable silver weight of almost 5.5kg! The set is in immaculate condition and appears to have never been used.
Every piece is hallmarked for Sheffield 2004 and marked for Arthur Price. The sets of table and dessert knives have silver handles with stainless steel blades.
Royal Pearl Pattern
Royal Pearl pattern was designed in 1990 by Arthur price to celebrate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. The inspiration for the pattern was taken from her love of pearls. This is the first time we have encountered a solid silver service in the pattern!
