Table Spoons (6) - Old English Pattern - Greenock circa 1820 by Thomas Davie - 23cm long; 380g combined weight - HE/1741

This is a rare Georgian set of Scottish provincial silver table spoons made in Greenock by Thomas Davie.

These Old English Pattern spoons are engraved with an original script letter "N" to the terminals and are in fantastic condition with superb thick tips to their bowls.

Each one has a clear set of Scottish provincial marks: "TD", "Anchor", "ship" and "green oak" for Thomas Davie of Greenock. Finding single examples from Greenock is tricky enough, but a complete and original set in such fine condition is quite a feat!
