This is a fabulous piece of Scottish provincial silver with good Aberdeen marks for William Jamieson.
This Georgian silver serving slice has a superb fish-bone style pierced design to the blade and is beautifully engraved with a leafy tendril around the edge. The fiddle pattern handle is engraved with a block letter "A" in script and a good set of Aberdeen marks to the reverse side - WJ A B D WJ. This is a large, hefty silver fish slice in fine condition with neither damage nor repair and at a very competitive price.
