These are a beautiful set of cased silver teaspoons made by Liberty & Company in the Medea Pattern.
The art nouveau Medea Pattern was designed by Archibald Knox in 1899 exclusively for Liberty & Co. and as it was one of the most popular lines continued in production until the 1930's.
The case shows some foxing to the silk lined interior, but otherwise the six teaspoons are in pristine condition with each piece bearing a clear set of Birmingham hallmarks for Liberty & Co..
