This is a truly outstanding four piece tea and coffee service from the early years of Victoria's reign. It just oozes quality: it looks and feels magnificent and is of the highest quality of workmanship.

 

Each piece is flat chased with a band of anthemions and geometric motifs amidst a background of trellis work. The coffee pot and cream are pear-shaped and the teapot and sugar bowl are pumpkin shaped - each piece is segmented by flutes. The interiors of the cream jug and sugar bowl are gilt.

 

A fantastic quality service made by one of London's premier silversmithing companies. It is in superb, crisp condition throughout with no personalised engravings.

 

Coffee pot: 255mm high; 165mm diameter body; Teapot: 180mm high, 180mm diameter body; Sugar Bowl: 130mm high, 155mm diameter body; Cream/milk jug: 175mm high, 105mm diameter body; volume of tea and coffee pots is 1600ml (2 3/4 pints); 2570 grams (82.6 tr.oz) combined weight.
