The Guild of Handicraft was set up in Chipping Camden in the heart of the Cotswolds during the early years of the 20th century. This silver caddy spoon forms a link between the company and the local administrators Cotswold District Council.
The spoon has the coat of arms complete with "United We Serve" motto to the terminal and has a gently planished bowl in the tradition of the arts & crafts movement. The spoon has clear GofH hallmarks for Harts Silversmiths - The Guild of Handicraft and is in excellent condition.
