Pickle Stand (with glass jars) - Sheffield 1856 by Thomas Bradbury & Son - 20cm long; 23cm high; 570g silver (2kg gross weight). Height of glass jars: 14.5cm - YH/1903

This is a rare piece of Victorian silver - a large double pickle stand with its two original glass jars - perfect for use with a salad or buffet.

Made by Thomas Bradbury & Son, this good-sized stand has four ball & claw feet, a tall carrying handle and a pierced gallery to securely hold the glass jars and be able to see the contents. The glass jars are attractively cut, have good-fitting pull-off lids and are a perfect fit for the spaces within the base.

This silver pickle stand remains in excellent condition throughout with no damage to either silver or glass. Both the main body and removable carrying handle bear full sets of corresponding hallmarks.
