A fine example of a Georgian period basting spoon dating from the year of Nelson's victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. This spoon has clear Exeter hallmarks with the rarely found "FP/JG" makers mark for the partnership of Parsons & Goss. This 11.5" long Old English pattern serving spoon is in fine condition with original script initials to the front terminal.
