Fiddle & Thread Silver Sugar Sifter Spoon, 1867
Sold
Sugar Sifter Spoon - Fiddle & Thread pattern - London 1867 by George Adams - 17.2cm; 68g - XT/2744
This is a fine quality antique silver sugar sifter spoon in the popular fiddle & thread pattern and made by one of the best exponents of flatware manufacture - Chawner & Co (lead by George Adams).
The bowl of this good-sized sifter spoon is superbly pierced and the quality throughout is excellent. An added bonus is the lack of any engravings from the front terminal (no erasures either) and the overall fine condition with original patina.
