Toothpick Box - Rectangular, Engraved - Birmingham 1795 by Samuel Pemberton - 7cm long x 2cm wide; 23g - JM/7771

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This long rectangular silver box with oval ends was originally made for housing toothpicks and is a fine example of the work of Samuel Pemberton. The exterior is attractively to all sides and the top cover is centred by original script engraved ownership initials. The box is hinged and opened by way of a sprung push-button. The full set of hallmarks are located along the inside top edge of the base and the whole piece is in excellent condition.
