Soup Ladle - Chased decoration - Cork circa 1780 by Carden Terry - 35.5cm long; 186g - SL/5172

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a splendid late 18th century Irish provincial soup ladle. It is superbly decorated with original chased scrolls to the front stem and bowl. Additionally, the bowl is fluted and the front terminal engraved with a smashing crest of an elephant. It is marked to the reverse side with "STERLING" and the "CT" makers mark twice for Carden Terry. Excellent condition and quality throughout.
