Caddy Spoon - Faux Rivetted - Chester 1913 by Keswick School of Industrial Art - 9cm long; 24g - YJ/5030

This is a fine example of an arts & crafts silver caddy spoon made by the Keswick School of Industrial Art.

The spoon has a faux rivetted edge to simulate industrial manufacture, even though it is hand-made. The deep, circular bowl retains the original spot hammer marks and is cleanly stamped to the underside with Chester hallmarks and the KSIA maker's mark.

This design was the most popular from the Keswick School's portfolio and was made in other metals such as pewter, stainless steel and brass. This example is in fine condition and has a nice solid weight in the hand.
