Omar Ramsden Silver Napkin Ring, London 1903

This is a fabulous Art Nouveau silver napkin ring dating from the Edwardian period.

This capstan-shaped serviette ring has a chased central rose with flowing tendrils and an all over hand-made, planished appearance. A typical example from the workshop of Ramsden & Carr, this napkin ring is curiously stamped with just the mark of Omar Ramsden (probably over-striking a previous Rn&Cr mark). It is in excellent all round condition
