Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a scarce opportunity to buy a silver box by the very best British silversmith of the 20th century - Omar Ramsden.

Ideal for holding pills or snuff, this beautiful, oval, silver box has been hand-made and in the traditions of the Arts & Crafts movement retains its original hammer (planishing) marks. The hinged cover is decorated with a chased, wavy, oval band - chasing being a superior and more technically challenging form of decoration to engraving.

The box is in superb condition and bears hallmarks to the interior and the sought after "Omar Ramsden Me Fecit" legend to the underside.
