These are a fabulous quality pair of Georgian silver 10" dinner plates. They have a good hefty weight and are superbly decorated with flat chased floral decoration around the sides. The egg and dart border give them an added feeling of high quality. Joseph Angell was one of the best large workers of the Regency and George IV periods and these places are testament to his high reputation. The plates are in superb condition with minimal scratching and a good, original patina.
