Coffee Pot - Baluster with Engraved Decoration - London 1835 by Paul Storr - 22cm high; 23cm wide; 884g - LT/4225d

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a wonderful silver coffee pot made by Paul Storr, the greatest British silversmith of the 19th century.

The coffee pot has an elegant baluster form and has an exquisite mixture of engraved flowers, scrolls and pattern-work around a vacant cartouche (no erasures). The pot has a silver handle with heat insulators, a highly quality cast spout and stands on a ring foot with pierced slats. The hinged cover is topped by a finial in the form of a flower.

The full set of hallmarks, including the all-important PS mark of the maker, are located to the underside where the name of the important partnership "Storr & Mortimer" can also be found. The condition is excellent throughout.

We are currently also offering the matching cream jug and sugar bowl. See links below.
