This is a lovely lamp-shaped silver teapot by the greatest English silversmith of the 19th century. It has a beautiful feel to it and ideal for a breakfast cuppa. The flush hinge is of the high quality expected from Storr and the acanthus leaf decoration to the top of the handle to give extra grip is an added attention to detail. This motif is repeated at the tip of the spout. This small teapot has a lovely shape with a pleasing form that is easy on the eye. The interior has been professionally cleaned and the pot is in excellent condition with a clear set of hallmarks to the underside.
