This George III period silver nutmeg grater was made during the late 18th century by Samuel Pemberton.
Taking an oval form with a domed, pull-off cover, this pocket spice grater is fitted with its original steel rasp and the grated nutmeg can be retrieved by removing the underside. The full set of Birmingham hallmarks are located to the base and the overall condition is excellent.
