This is a beautiful arts & crafts silver pitcher or jug that has a wicker covered handle suggesting that it could be used for hot liquids such as milk or water. It has an all over planished (spot hammered) finish with two bands of Celtic decoration around the tapering cylindrical body. This good-sized jug remains in fabulous condition.
Julius and Adolph Sandheim produced some fine pieces of arts & crafts gold and silver and retailed them from their Notting Hill shop in London.
