Spill Holder - Two Sections with Engraved Busts - London 1929 by Omar Ramsden - 7.7cm long; 4cm wide; 6.1cm high; 137g - AE/2862

This is a fabulous two sectioned silver spill or match holder made by Omar Ramsden.

Rather intriguingly, the front of the container is engraved with shoulder length portraits of an American Indian wearing a headdress and an East Asian Indian wearing a turban. The whole is softly planished all over in the arts & crafts tradition. The underside is inscribed 'Omar Ramsden Me Fecit'.

This is a fine quality antique silver match holder that remains in superb condition.
