Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a fabulous silver trefid spoon dating from the late Charles II period. The spoon includes the desirable feature of a rattail with attractive scroll decoration. The engraving to the reverse terminal is interesting in that it appears to have part of an original betrothal triangle and a later wheat sheaf crest with the date "1803". The condition is excellent with a full bowl (sharp leading edge) and an excellent set of hallmarks including the crowned "EH" mark of the specialist spoonmaker Edward Hulse.
