Spoon - Slip top - London 1614 by William Frend - 15.5cm long; 34g - EP/8766

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

An excellent James I silver slip top spoon in fine condition. This spoon has a superb unworn fig-shaped bowl and a plain hexagonal stem with diagnostic angled off terminal. The slip top is engraved with "WF" initials, whilst the back of the bowl bears later "EN" initials. The spoon has a good set of legible marks with a clear "WF" in lobed punch mark for the rarely found maker William Frend and date letter towards the end of the shank in the expected manner. This is a very good spoon in excellent condition.
