Toddy Ladle - Fiddle pattern - Cupar circa 1820 by Robert Robertson - 16.5cm long; 38g - GF/5002

Made by Robert Robertson in Cupar, this is a very rare piece of Scottish provincial silver.

The long, slender fiddle pattern terminal to this toddy ladle is diagnostically Scottish and it benefits from being free of personalised engravings. The marks to the reverse side are excellent and the overall condition is first rate.

Cupar is a small market town in the Howe of Fife, to the north of Edinburgh.
