Caddy Spoon - Circular Bowl with Engraved Tea Plant - Birmingham 1809 by Joseph Willmore - 5.8cm wide - HE/2030
This is a lovely example of the dainty silver caddy spoons made by both Thomas and Joseph Willmore at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century - this particularly pretty example being made by Joseph in 1809.
The spoon has a circular bowl with an engraved tea plant to the centre. The handle is attractively decorated with three flower heads and an original "W" ownership initial to the terminal. The spoon is in excellent condition.
