Mote Spoon 'Vase of Flowers'

This is a great mote spoon with the rare feature of vase of long stemmed flowers motif with a shell surmount to the reverse of the bowl. This motif is occasionally found on teaspoons of the period, but very rarely on mote spoons. The spoon is in excellent condition and has an attractively pierced bowl. The stem is marked with a maker's mark which is typically squashed and tricky to read.
