Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a joyous silver & enamel caddy spoon made in the Soviet Union during the late 50's/early 60's.

The shovel-shaped spoon is decorated to both sides with colouful champleve enamel on a white background. The inside of the scoop is gilt and the location of the silver marks. The stamps comprise the silver mark (which includes the 916 fineness, a star with a hammer & sickle inside and an upside down "v" which is the place of manufacture) and the maker's mark in cyrillic.

This feel-good, Russian caddy spoon dates from the height of the Cold War and remains in fine condition.
